Peanut Butter Hemp Protein Energy Bars

Main Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup brown rice flake or oats
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 50g dark chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract
  • Hemp seeds to sprinkle on top
  • 1/2 cup Kiki Health Hemp Protein Powder

Instructions

Add the brown rice flakes or oats to a blender and blend until a fine flour is formed. Add the peanut butter, hemp protein, honey, chia seeds and vanilla bean paste or extract. Blend until you have a smooth cookie dough texture. Add chopped chocolate and pulse in the blender until well combined. Line a loaf tin and press the dough evenly into the tin. Use the back of a spoon to smooth out the top. Top with a sprinkle of hemp seeds and place in the freezer to set for 30mins. Once set cut into bars and store in the freezer.

These Hemp Protein Energy bars are best eaten fresh but can be made in advance and stored in the freezer for up to 3 months.
